Floor Warming
Warming homes for over 30 years!
PRICING INFORMATION CLICK HERE
DeltaWarm cables have limited memory. Limited memory allows cable to lay flat for easy installation.
A safe, economical, and flexible heating system, DeltaWarm provides warmth radiating from the floor with no drafts or cold spots.
Best of all, you control individual room settings and energy costs.
Install DeltaWarm as the primary heating system for your entire home or room addition. Or install as a secondary floor warming system
to warm a cold tile, stone, or marble floor. Whatever the application, your floor surface will be a comfortable 85 to 92 degrees F.
All systems are either UL Listed or CSA certified.
Design
The DeltaWarm cable is installed in a serpentine pattern so heat is placed exactly where needed in each room.
1. Calculate open floor space.
Area = Length x Width
Open Floor Space = Area - Fixture Area.
The drawing below is of a typical bathroom. The sink, toilet, and tub (fixture area) will not be heated and therefore are
subtracted out of the open floor space.

2. Select the cable from the selection chart below by following either the primary or secondary square foot column down to the open floor
space calculation and then follow that row to the product number.
|
 |
 |
Primary heat systems space the cable runs 6" apart.
Secondary heat systems space cable runs 8-9" apart.
|
 |
3. Select a control for each heated room based upon voltage supplied.
Control
FL-12P and FL-24P electronic, digital readout, 7-day programmable thermostats with in-floor temperature sensor.
7-Day Programmable
With their modern look and accurate data, FL-12P and FL-24P are the thermostat of choice. Every morning your warm floors will be waiting.
The program allows you to set your DeltaWarm system on and off at various times each day. This control will maximize your comfort and save
on energy costs.
GFCI - Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
Each FL-12P and FL-24P thermostat is equipped with a built-in safety device called a GFCI. The GFCI ensures that if ever your floor is damaged,
power to the DeltaWarm system would be terminated immediately.

Installation
This is an installation overview, full instructions are included with the product.
The DeltaWarm cable is to be embedded directly between the subfloor and the floor covering.
A certified electrician must make the final power connection.
Starting at the power source, lay the cable around the perimeter of the room to the farthest corner.
Then serpentine the cable across the inside of the room (as shown on detail 1) returning to the power source.
- Rough-in the electrical junction box that will hold the thermostat at the power source.
- Install two 1/2" thin walled metal conduits leading from the power source to the subfloor. The conduit used to hold
the thermostatic sensor will extend toward the center of the room.
- Feed one black cable lead through the shorter of the two conduits up to the power source.
- Lay the cable on the subfloor at the required spacing.
- Attach the cable to the subfloor every 3' with the clips provided.
- The second black cable lead returns through the same metal conduit up to the power soource.
- Slide the thermostatic sensor inside of the second conduit.
- Make the power connection at the back of the thermostat.
- Embed the cable in a single pour of mortar.
- Lay floor covering per manufacturers installation instructions.
